The last pain anyone would expect to experience in a tattoo shop is from cuts and bruises caused by a sword attack.
But in one Orlando, Florida tattoo parlor, that’s exactly what happened when homeless convict Jason Lynn Gay attacked the shop owner and his client.
There were also a guitar and glass table involved.
For some reason, Gay thought Walker and his customer had called him a “chain gang punk,” so he decided to retaliate.
Grabbing a ceremonial Knights of Columbus sword and a guitar from the shop’s wall, the Sun-Sentinel reports that Jason Lynn Gay started laughing, telling the men that he was going to kill them and that it was their “day to die.”
He then launched into a sword attack.
Walker was hit with the sword and then smacked in the head with the guitar, reports the paper. His customer struggled with Gay, eventually grabbing a glass tabletop and slamming it over his attacker’s head.
Jason Lynn Gay is now being charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and battery.
Gay had just served 10 years in prison for violent crimes, according to the paper. Because he is most likely on probation and has a past criminal history, if he is convicted of any of these crimes, one should expect him to serve the maximum sentence.
