When a lawyer from Los Angeles, trashed his hotel suite at the Encore in Las Vegas, did he think that the Wolfpack from “The Hangover” would let him into their entourage?
While it sounds pretty similar to what Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis’ characters did in the movie (their friend who keeps disappearing for 90% of the film doesn’t count), it’s slightly different. Apparently, Pearman had not only trashed his suite, but supposedly adamantly refused several times to pay for any of the damage when Encore requested that he did.
On top of this, while arguably in a drunken stupor (or sober), Pearman had yelled at the hotel staff in front of the police. He then went on to declare that he is a lawyer and “will depose Steve Wynn, and make this place napalm.” reports the Review-Journal Steve Wynn is the owner of Encore hotel.
At least Cooper, Helms, and Galifianakis had embarked on a noble mission to find their lost friend after the matter. Also, they were involuntarily drugged, weren’t they? Based on reports, Pearman was drunk, willfully, and to some extent likely aware of his actions while in the haze of birthday celebrations. Lawyers diligently trying to re-focus the profession’s tarnished image of alcoholism and arrogance can thank him for this tiny little setback.
Reports say Pearman’s next court appearance in Las Vegas is set for July.
