It’s a bit early to fill Christmas stockings, but since Greedy is our name, what the heck. Reports out last week say that as one additional associate bonus, BigLaw firm Proskauer Rose is gifting its own with iPads as one potential work computing option.
Yes, the greedy and non-greedy associates at Proskauer will have the choice between an iPad and a desktop PC or a free laptop with docking station, reports Above the Law.
Please note here that according to ATL, the post-recession bonus gold rush will be led by Cravath. Proskauer has signaled its confidence that it will be able to match the associate bonus market rate – even with the early stocking suffers it has just handed out.
Other firms have reportedly given associates iPads that will be the associate’s property, as opposed to the firms’. However, the Proskauer generosity is complete, even if an associate gadget-hound has already purchased the iPad, she or he will be reimbursed by the firm.
